Among the selected projects – conversion of the concept of an asteroid in a space ship. It is expected that the conversion will be carried out the robot, which then uses only the resources of the asteroid.

The list of supported projects also included the concept of reprogramming microorganisms for use on Mars, the development of special two-dimensional space vehicles to help clear the space around the Earth from space debris.

The authors of initiatives in the first qualifying round got 100 thousand dollars. In case studies on the practical implementation of the project will be considered successful, the second phase of the program, participants will receive another 500 thousand dollars.
