The launch of “Soyuz” from Kourou again moved to the day – RBC

Start the Russian carrier rocket “Soyuz-ST-A” with the Sentinel-1B Remote Sensing of the Earth spacecraft from Kourou (French Guiana) postponed for another day because of bad weather. This was reported by the state corporation Roscosmos on his page on Facebook.

Initially, the rocket launch was scheduled for April 12, but later it was moved to April 23 reminds TASS. Then, due to adverse weather conditions postponed the launch on April 24 and now moved again. As a result, according to Roskosmos, the rocket launch to be held April 25 at 00:02 MSK.

The launch vehicle with the upper “Fregat-M” unit should withdraw some European satellites into orbit, including Sentinel -1B and satellites passing loads “Microscope” and FYS (Fly Your Satellit).

The rocket “Soyuz-ST-A” is created on the base of the rocket “Soyuz-2″. In turn, the launch rocket “Soyuz 2.1a” will be held in a few days – April 27 at 05:01 MSK carrier rocket must be launched from the cosmodrome Vostochny in the Amur region. This launch should be the first to launch site.

The first launch of the rocket carrier from the East will be insured by 1.84 billion rubles. This amount includes insurance carrier rocket “Soyuz 2.1a” (1.088 billion rubles.). Insurance of the launch complex was estimated at 24.135 billion rubles.
