The creators of the 113th element of the periodic table are recognized scientists from the Japanese Institute of RIKEN. In connection with this element predict the name “Japan”. Specialists from this country under the leadership of Kosuke Morita tried to get the 113-member since 2003.

The fact that the 117th element exists, it became known as a result of research physicists at the German Institute for Heavy Ion.

Meanwhile, the elements with atomic numbers 115, 117 and 118 are assigned “provisional” name: Ununpentium (ununpentium – Uup), Ununseptium (ununseptium – Uus) and ununoctium (ununoctium – Uuo). After a few months in the table will their real names reported in the IUPAC.

In nature, there are no elements heavier than uranium, ie atomic number (number of protons in its nucleus) is greater than 92. The elements heavier than 100th in the periodic table can be obtained only in the laboratory: accelerators, by “bombing” the target with heavy ions. Thus, four new element of the periodic table is artificially synthesized.
