The UK government may approve the use of technology that allows grow human organs with the help of animals. It is reported by The Telegraph .
By the end of the week Scientific Committee on Animal Home Office UK plans to release the first guide in which you will learn about the technology, and animals used for tissue engineering. Use will be pigs and sheep, because they are the most suitable for the cultivation of human and least likely to get rejected. First of all, scientists plan to grow organs such as the liver, kidneys and heart.
If the technology is enabled, the UK could become the first country in the world where a shortage of donor organs will be solved thanks to the cultivation of the bodies of animals.
