In the periodic table have added four new member – Mangazia

Chemical elements with atomic numbers 113, 115, 117 and 118 officially added to the periodic table. The discovery of three of them, including at the joint Russian-American collaboration, as the 113th member – for the Japanese.

Four new chemical element added to the periodic table that has completed its seventh series. Elements officially verified by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC).

This is the first expansion of the periodic table in 2011, when they were added to 114 and 116th elements. For the first time adopted the periodization of the chemical elements by atomic weight has been developed by Russian scientist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869.

IUPAC awarded the honor of opening 115, 117 and 118 of the first elements of Russian and American team of researchers from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California.

discoverer of the 113th element were found by Japanese scientists from the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research “ Rikagaku Kenkusё ” (Riken).

Pioneers now have the right to come up with elements of names and two-letter designations. It is given five months, after which the names and symbols are approved by the Board of IUPAC.

The four new elements have been artificially synthesized. Elements heavier than uranium are not found in the natural environment. Artificially created superheavy elements from the end of the periodic table there are usually only a fraction of a second and then decay into other elements.
