Scientists have found the answer to the question why the person is breeding for the right sex. For example, cloning is much less energy intensive method for the body. Besides, there is no need to look for a partner that increases the chances of procreation. It turned out that nature, as always, a reasonable and prudent sexual reproduction gives future generations a stronger immunity than using any other method, says “Informing”.
the Study of this issue conducted by Scottish scientists who observed the Daphnia – water flea that can reproduce as sexual or asexual. The results showed that the offspring of two fleas, was much stronger and more resistant to diseases than the one that was a clone of the female.
According to the researchers, during mating the genetic material of the parents is shuffled, with the result that the offspring is a more “qualitative”. But the “clone” offspring of fleas accumulate genetic errors, leading to various pathologies and reduced resistance to disease.
