Russian-Chinese hackers have announced a large-scale attack on popular sites in the U.S. – Росбалт.RU

Massive DDoS attack has occurred on numerous sites in the U.S., including Twitter, Netflix and PayPal.

according to Reuters, the attack was aimed at the DNS servers hosting company Dyn. As a result, about two hours was unavailable, Twitter, Amazon, Ebay, Spotify, Netflix and Airbnb. The company Dyn said that the hackers ‘ actions have influenced customers in the regions to the East of the country.

Hackers used millions of Internet-related devices to send huge number of requests. However, they acted through cameras and other poorly protected devices connected to the Network.

Now the FBI is investigating the incident. Responsibility for cyber attacks already have the hacker group New World Hackers based in China and in the United States. It consists of more than 30 people, including 20 hackers from Russia and ten from China. However, U.S. intelligence is no evidence of this information.
