DIC: The complex “Eagle” is able to protect objects from radio controlled explosions – REGNUM

Kubinka, Moscow region, October 6, 2015, 10:39 – REGNUM On the “Day of Innovation Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation” 5 October “Joint instrument-making company” (MIC enters Rostec) presented an individual set of electronic warfare (EW) “Needle”, which increases the degree of protection of objects of radio-controlled explosive devices, five times.

According to the Deputy Director General DIC Sergei Skokova complex developed belongs to the corporation Concern “Constellation”. The radius of the range of the mobile compact complex fivefold increased through the creation of a combined interference (sighting and barrier frequency) specified in the defense industry.

Skokov noted that “needle” can be used to protect various objects, both fixed and moving – cars – and armored vehicles – and manpower. The complex can be installed on different transport bases with on-board voltage of 12 volts. In addition, the “Igla” requires minimal training prior to use and minimal operator skill.

In order to improve the reliability of the designers made it possible to simultaneously connect multiple products “Igla” and synchronous operation systems with other types of protection, for example, a small-sized transmitter interference “little forest”.
