In China’s Hunan province, archaeologists have discovered an ancient tomb older than 1.4 thousand years, with frescoes depicting two women. About it reports “Xinhua”.

As told to the Agency scientist Lo Shengyang, found the tomb has a maximum length of 14 m and a maximum width of 2 m. She was found in a village in the suburb of Chenzhou.

according to “Xinhua”, the frescoes in the tomb — colored. They smooth lines, depicts two women dressed in long skirts and coats with wide collars that reveal their shoulders. Scientists believe that the tomb was built during the Southern and Northern Dynasties 420-589 A. D.

“This is the most ancient frescoes in the tombs that have been found in Hunan. Very rarely they can be seen in Northern China,” said Lo. He also noted that the image on the mural can help in the study of history of costume in China.
