Today, President Vladimir Putin opened a four- International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2015» on the territory of the newly built military-patriotic recreation park “Patriot”. The event was attended by all of the armed forces, more than 500 companies, the state corporation “Rostec” company “Helicopters of Russia” and Uralvagonzavod, research organizations, as well as foreign partners.
The Ministry of Defence is planning to demonstrate at the forum all the possibilities of modern Russian army and military-industrial complex. On the basis of the forum and Park «The Patriot» will open a permanent “defense supermarket”, which could come at any time, representatives of the army other countries, to see, test and buy advanced Russian weapons.
