On the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko received a signal from the probe Philae – IA REGNUM

Paris, 14 June 2015, 15:25 – REGNUM The space probe Philae (Fila), made a successful landing on a comet 67P / Churyumov-Gerasimenko in November last year, got in touch with the Earth. On Sunday 14 June informed the European Space Agency (ESA), reports BBC.

As previously reported IA REGNUM , Philae was the first cosmic coupling agent, who flew with Earth on a comet and was able to land on it. The descent of the probe Philae Rosetta orbiter was carried out on November 12 last year.

Philae worked about 60 hours, and then the connection with him was lost. The ESA decided that the connection was lost due to the fact that the probe ended with the energy that it receives from the solar panels, and at some point they were in the shade. And now, after seven months of silence over the probe transmits signals to Earth. The ESA pointed out that during this time the comet approached the Sun and the probe was able to accumulate a sufficient amount of energy. However, those agencies still can not locate the probe.
