The European Space Agency says that the module Philae handed new data from the surface of the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko, the first time after seven months of hibernation.

The signals are sent to Earth Philae, contained more than 300 packets of data on the state of module. In particular, it was revealed that the probe is at a temperature of -35 degrees Celsius and receiving power capacity of 24 watts. According to project manager Stefan Ulameka Philae probe is ready for operation.

The duration of “dialogue” module with the Earth was only 85 seconds. It was the first session since then, as the November 15, 2014, he went into hibernation after the transfer of the data it has collected during the first part of its research mission. As before, communication is conducted due to the spacecraft Rosetta, which is delivered to the comet Churyumov Philae-Gerasimenko.

At the moment, scientists expect the next contact with the probe – in his memory there are still more than eight thousand packets of information that will tell that occur on the surface of a comet in the last days.

It was reported earlier that the probe Philae found on the surface of the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko organic molecules .
