Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation headed by Gregory Ivliev rospatent. According to “Vedomosti”, he announced the upcoming appointment of the first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov during a meeting in the government on global license. When did Mr. Ivliev begin new responsibilities, not yet reported. Sam Deputy Minister has not commented on his appointment.

It is expected that the new service will be established on the basis of Rospatent. The structure will regulate the activities in the field of copyright and related rights, collective rights management, intellectual property protection, legal protection of interests of the state as a result of the turnover development of military, special and dual purpose.

– The Federal Service shall report directly the government and take over development of the strategy, coordinate the work of existing organizations and legislate in their field. Rospatent currently subject to Ministry of Economic Development, – lead “Izvestia”, the words of the rector of the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property of Ivan Gemini.

Ivliev Grigory Petrovich was born in 1957 in the village of Panic (Ryazan region). He graduated from the Law Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University. After defending his thesis, he taught at the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Law. From 1994 to 1997 he worked in the State Duma Committee on Legislation and Legal Reform. In 1998 he moved to the Government Staff. In 2002 he was appointed Head of the Legal Department of the State Duma. In the period 2007-2011 – deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V convening a federal list of candidates of the party “United Russia”, Chairman of the Committee on Culture. He is currently the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.
