South Korea ready for production of military robots, to develop that scientists began three years ago. It is now coming to an end to create an operating platform, which will operate robots, as well as almost completed work on the control technology.
The Korean Institute of Military Studies said that on completion of the development phase of the operating system and management system, the scientists started to create military robots. They will be managed by intelligent automation.
The approximate weight of the robots will be five tonnes. First issued automated robots will likely be sent to the border with North Korea. There are robots will control the situation and seek out mines.
