In Singapore, scientists from the Laboratory of Nanyang Technological University invented a battery that can be charged for only five minutes. Told the head of a group of engineers who developed the new device, Cheen Xiaodong, their battery is electrical, because has several characteristics that distinguish it from the lithium-ion.
In the first place, it is charged to the delight and surprise quickly – just 5 minutes is required for complete filling of the energy capacity at a completely empty device, and the most common device requires up to two hours of continuous residence near the power supply. At the same time LiIon may serve no more than 5 years, and the novelty of Singaporean professionals – around 20 years. It is not known how long it may take re-equipment of production for their creation, and how soon mobile gadgets will finally be equipped with them.
