Razer has revealed at the CES 2017 one of the most unusual laptops unveiled recently. The new product is called Razer Project Valerie, and its main feature is the displays. Yeah, that’s not a typo and not a bug, Razer introduced the world’s first laptop equipped with three displays.
in Addition to the main display, the cover of the novelty is fraught with two side display. The display is mounted on a special mechanism, which itself pushes the screens out of the cover of the notebook and hiding them back when needed. All three display built in 17.3-inch IGZO panels, each of which has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K). That is, with all involved displays laptop offers a resolution of 11520 x 2160 pixels (12K).
Thanks to the use of IGZO panels displays have good color rendering and low power consumption, and also have one hundred percent coverage of Adobe RGB color spaces. For image display on the displays in Project Valerie meets discrete graphics adapter NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080. It also supports the technology NVIDIA G-Sync.
unfortunately, Razer did not disclose other specifications. New product weighs more than 5 kg, and its thickness is 38 mm, which is not much greater than the thickness of a normal 17-inch gaming laptop. Unfortunately, while it is only a prototype, and about the release dates, and even more on the cost of the laptop Project Valerie to speak still early.
