MOSCOW, 5 Dec – RIA Novosti. Tomb of Jesus Christ in the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem is the tomb, which in the IV century was found by Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine. To such conclusions scientists came after the analysis of the contents of the Shrine, writes the Independent.

Archaeologist Fredrick hibert recalled that for centuries the Church was ruined several times as natural disasters (fires and earthquakes), and as a result of invasions.

“We didn’t know whether it was built every time in the same place. But it seems, is the visible proof that the place which today is worshiped by the pilgrims, is actually the grave which was found in the IV century, and which was worshipped by the crusaders” — quoted scientist Independent.
