The President signed the Federal Law “On Amendments to the Federal Law” On Circulation of Medicines “and the Federal Law” On Amendments to the Federal Law “On Circulation of Medicines”.
In order to improve the system of state regulation of prices for medicines included in the list of vital and essential drugs (VED), changes are made, according to which the draft decisions of executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation on the establishment and (or) change limit allowances to the actual, selling prices set by manufacturers of drugs for medicinal products included in the VED list, subject to agreement with the authorized federal executive body.
It is assumed that these powers will implement the Federal Tariff Service and the procedure for approval of these draft decisions is to set the government.
This year, retail drug prices outpaced the rate of growth with selling factories, according to the study of Economics. This primarily affected the cheapest drugs (priced below 50 rubles. Per pack). Rising prices for such products from the list of VED was about 14% in April 2015 compared with April 2014, in the not related to this theme – 39%.
HSE experts expect a rise in prices for drugs allegedly by 16% and the growth associated with the new rules for the indexation of prices manufacturers of medicines.
