MCC increased the height of the ISS for 700 meters – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, April 2 – RIA Novosti. Russian Mission Control Center (MCC) has completed an operation to increase the average height of the orbit of the International Space Station (ISS ) at 700 meters, told RIA Novosti the PCO.

“Space maneuver performed to form the orbit to dock to the ISS next space truck” Progress M-27M. “The operation was conducted with the help of the propulsion system is in the Station ship “Progress M-26M”, which has successfully worked for about three minutes, “- said the official.

ISS given impetus to 0.43 m / s, with the result that the average height of the orbit of its flight increased by about 700 m.
