NASA specialists published the results of new studies of the Martian atmosphere, carried out on the basis of data received from the probe Maven.

According to the scientists, the disappearance of the dense atmosphere of Mars fault currents thrown Sun particles known as the solar wind.

The speed of the solar wind is about one and a half million kilometers per hour, and therefore it is every second blow away from the atmosphere of Mars about a hundred grams of various gases.

According to researchers, dense atmosphere disappeared Mars nearly four billion years ago.

Prior to this planet were the preconditions for the emergence of life.

In October, scientists were finally convinced that when -That Mars had at least one full lake, but it is unknown how much it existed.

In addition, the researchers believe that the dark streaks appearing on the surface of the planet during the warmer months, can be formed on the site of periodic flows liquid water.

These figures may indicate that Mars may now exist in some form of life, since the presence of water increases the probability of the existence of primitive forms, such as microbes.
