Earth in the next 100 years could face 400 asteroids – Moskovsky Komsomolets – London

Specialists of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said that in the next century, our planet may face 400 asteroids. They found in deep space unknown asteroid belt, which moves towards the earth at a tremendous speed.

Observation of cosmic objects in the past two months led to the startling discovery. NASA astronomers have found that the majority of the unknown asteroid belt has a huge size, some of which reach a diameter of 100 meters. According to scientists, the collision of an asteroid with the Earth so may result in devastating consequences for human civilization.

A few days ago a meteorite fell in Nicaragua, has broken away from a huge asteroid.
