The largest particle accelerator – the Large Hadron Collider ( LHC) – will be restarted today (8:30 UK time), after a slight modification of equipment.
Scientists working on the LHC, predicting the imminent opening of the new particles, representing, according to them, even more interesting than the elusive Higgs boson.
Scientists plan for the first time to identify the so-called supersymmetric particles, or gluinos. If they appear in the collider, it will be the first direct empirical evidence of the existence of “dark matter” that predicted by the currently accepted model of the universe by the scientific community.
