BAIKONUR (Kazakhstan), March 16 – RIA Novosti . Set the carrier rocket “Soyuz-FG” with the spacecraft “TMA-20M Soyuz” on the “Gagarin” launch pad canceled due to strong squally wind at Baikonur, a source told RIA Novosti.

Rocket on special train was taken out of the assembly and test facility and safely delivered to the launch site. However, to raise the “Soyuz-FG” in the upright position was too risky because of the strong winds that often happens in the desert. So while the media with the docked space shuttle remains on w / e platform, the decision about the time of its installation will be made later.

Thus, the sequence diagram of preparation for the launch of a new expedition to the ISS, previously scheduled for March 19 moves.

The ship will deliver to the International space station a new crew of Alexei Ovchinin, Oleg Skripochka (Roskosmos) and Jeffrey Williams (NASA). On board the ISS they expect Timothy Kopra (NASA), Timothy Peak (ESA) and the Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko.
