Capsule “Soyuz TMA-18M” with the ISS crew landed in Kazakhstan – RIA Novosti

Mission Control Centre (Korolev), March 2 – RIA Novosti. the descent vehicle capsule “Soyuz TMA-18M” with the participants of the annual mission – Scott Kelly and Mikhail Kornienko and Sergei Volkov, spent in orbit for six months, landed in Kazakhstan in the area, close to the settlement, RIA Novosti learned from the Control Center Mission (MCC).

Army transport aircraft and the Central military District (CVO) crew met manned spacecraft “Soyuz TMA-18M”. The search-and-rescue support landing “Union” involves about 200 troops, 12 helicopters Mi-8 with the special equipment on board, four AN-12 and AN-26 and 18 units of vehicles off-road.

On board ISS continued to work with the earth in anticipation of the change of the arrival of Timothy Kopra (US NASA), Timothy Peak (United Kingdom, ESA) and Yuri Malenchenko (Russia, Roscosmos).
