The network “VKontakte” launched a filter unwanted comments – Kommersant

The social network “VKontakte” launched a new tool for moderation – Filter comments for groups and public pages. The filter allows to automatically delete unwanted records containing obscenities or any other keywords selected by the administrator of the page. The innovation is already available the first 50 million groups, public pages and activities.

As explained by “VKontakte”, administrators will be available two versions of moderation. The first option involves filtering of obscene expressions based on dictionary compiled with the assistance of professional philologists and linguists. The second option will provide administrators with the ability to make your community a list of “stop words”. Any comments, trapped under the filter, will be automatically deleted as soon as they are published. Moderators pages be able to see all fallen under the filter comments in the log of actions and restore them when needed.
