Psychologists American Psychological Association said that many experienced Internet surfers greatly overestimate their intellectual abilities.

Gradually people become dependent intellectually on the Internet, said one of the study participants, a graduate student of the Faculty of Psychology at Yale University, Matthew Fisher.
The study involved 302 people who were divided into two groups . They were asked the same questions, and then the first group allows you to find the information you need on the Internet, and the second provided a printed answer. After this assessment was made of their own opinions of the participants about their knowledge on this topic.
People who find the answer on the Internet, were confident that they themselves have some knowledge in this area. Some even unable to find the correct answer to the sites still rest assured that possess certain knowledge.
The researchers warn that biased assessment of the level of their own erudition capable of causing harm to humans in some cases.
