Sanctions will cause the return of scientists in Russia, – rector of NSU – South Federal

Rector of Novosibirsk State University Michael Fedoruk said that the creation of laboratories in different fields of science, the university hopes to attract outstanding scientists of the number of compatriots.

According to the rector, by the end of the year planned to create 5 or 6 “mirror” laboratories with world-class scientists. To work in the laboratories of the University wants to bring “our diaspora, which is absolutely outstanding and works in many of the leading centers and universities around the world,” – he said.

The concept of “mirror” the laboratory is the following: the establishment of the University of research laboratory, similar to the one in which a scientist working abroad. In this design the staff of NSU is a prerequisite.

When the letter of the Rector, the problems with the participation of leading scientists will not, because due to the introduction of the Russian Federation in respect of sanctions, many scientists left the country before returning back. Surnames Fedoruk did not call, but said that talks about scientists “top-level by international standards”.
