The British government approved the rules of crossing human and animal – REGNUM

London, 12 February 2016, 18:30 – REGNUM documents regulating research on animals with human genes, is published on the website of the government of Great Britain on 11 February. In addition, the country has established a body to oversee the conduct controversial experiments.

Manual developed in collaboration with the Office on the use of human tissues, the Office for the Human Fertilisation and Embryology and the Academy of Medical UK science.

It is assumed that scientific experiments relating to the cultivation of a human animal organs or the creation of beings with mixed genes and necessary to explore new ways of treating diseases, will be divided into categories.

Some of the experiments have already become quite familiar, for example, drug tests on mice with human cancers. That experiment will be assigned a low priority. A more complicated and ethically questionable experiments, for example, transplantation of human brain tissues of the animal or the creation of creatures from outer signs of humans and animals, will be assigned a high priority level. In such cases, researchers will need to prove the obvious benefit of experience in medicine.

Recall, as previously reported IA REGNUM , in early February this year, British scientists were given the right to modify the gene in human embryos.
