MOSCOW, August 16 – RIA Novosti . Britain intends to tenfold increase in spending on the war in cyberspace, “to counter the threat from Russia and China,” according to Sunday Times.

“In the five years offensive kiberprogrammu UK will allocate up to 2 billion pounds ($ 3.13 billion),” – the newspaper said.

It is noted that funding will be increased on the recommendation of the United Command of the armed forces of Great Britain (Joint Forces Command, JFC). According to the publication, JFC urged to employ about 300 experts on cyber security and to develop a set of malicious software such as viruses, trojans, worms and spyware.

“Military sources reported that JFC recommended to form the annual budget of the British secret program at the level of 400 million pounds ($ 625 million). This is ten times the current level, “- says the article.
