Russian mobile operators have started to implement the system of protection of subscribers from viruses.
According to Igor Solodovnikova, representative of MTS The company plans to introduce a set of measures for detection of viruses, including the analysis of subscriber activity – suspicious Internet traffic, mailing SMS-messages to short numbers and the like.
All the details of the representative of MTS chose not to disclose, arguing that that cybercriminals can find a way around the protection system. But added that the owners of infected devices will be automatically redirected to a page informing them about the potential threat.
According to the data, the fight in the first place will be conducted with viruses designed for the platform Android, which, according to experts, is the most vulnerable.
