Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin called among the most important tasks in the Russian space industry search for extraterrestrial life and protecting the planet from asteroid hazard. He stated this in an interview, “Russia 24″.

Speaking of the scientific field, Rogozin said the need to address two major issues, including the future of the ISS. In particular, one of them – is whether Russia will extend the participation in the program after 2020 or after 2024.
