Venus and Jupiter in the night sky will come closer Aug 27 – Rosbalt.RU


 Venus and Jupiter 27 August 2016 will come closer to each other and almost merge in the night sky. Following a parade of planets will be held in 49 years – in 2065

.
 Such convergence planetary disks occur quite often, but Venus and Jupiter are extremely rare.

 Convergence drives these planets will begin approximately 20 minutes after sunset in the western part of the night sky near the horizon. The planets will be located so closely that the observers would think that they have merged into a single unit.
