Chemist from UK Catherine Harcup shared with the public with data about the most harmful products holiday feast. The use of these products can seriously affect the health of the person and even if excessive consumption would cause death, she warns.

As reported by “day.ru” with reference to “guardian” in the first place in the list is marzipan. The mixture of sugar and crushed almonds, contain amygdalin can cause severe poisoning. The reason is that in the gut it turns into hydrogen cyanide.

Nutmeg in the second place, it contains myristicin possessing hallucinogenic properties. In the case of excessive consumption of nutmeg can cause tachycardia, blurred vision and nausea.
