Roskomnadzor issued a warning to The New Times – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, February 1 – RIA Novosti. Roskomnadzor issued a warning to the magazine The New Times for mentioning the banned Russian extremist organization “Right Sector”, told RIA Novosti press-secretary of department Vadim Ampelonsky.

“We have issued a warning to The New Times for mentioning the organization” Right Sector “without specifying that in Russia, this institution is prohibited”, – he said.

According to him, Roskomnadzor make an administrative report in connection with the publication of a violation of the legislation.

“Right Sector” – Ukrainian association of radical nationalist organizations. In January and February 2014, gunmen movement clashed with the police and the seizure of administrative buildings, and in April – in the suppression of protests in eastern Ukraine. In November 2014 the Supreme Court recognized the right radical union extremist organization and banned its activities in Russia.
