The ancient Egyptians tended to counterfeiting …. mummies. This is confirmed by research by British scientists. It turns out that almost a third of animal mummies, over which “conjured” priests, in fact, are none other than the very clever “not the originals.” Yes, this ancient relics, but nevertheless, they are fakes. That is the conclusion the researchers came after a scan conducted about 800 mummies preserved animals. The result impressed the scientific community: 30% of the exhibits was an ordinary svёrtkami fabric, hollow inside and only superficially resemble the outlines of animals.
According to modern scientists, for this step of the ancient Egyptians pushed high demand for various animal mummies. And enable manufacturers to cope with the influx of orders, they just had to go to such tricks and prepare fake. Meanwhile, one-third of the ancient Egyptian mummies it’s really well-preserved remains of animals and birds. And still a third mummy consists partly of the remains of animals.
