After scanning approximately 800 animal mummies British scientists have found that 30% of them – a convolution of tissue that resemble the outline of the animals, but empty inside. It is reported by BBC-Ukraine.
The reason scientists call that animal mummies in ancient Egypt enjoyed great demand. They did not have time to make, and it is therefore possible underlay counterfeiting.
