British scientists have once again made a sensational statement. It turns out that thirty percent of all animal mummies that were found in the tombs of ancient Egypt, there is not genuine, ie simply fake. So informed the BBC.

In the course of research conducted on the territory of modern Egypt, it was found about 1 million mummified animals. After careful examination and study of mummies, experts have determined that 1/3 of all the mummies was, made artificially. Mummies outwardly appeared as usual mummified animal, and in fact – were a tightly rolled form a fabric and twine, in which there were no remains of animal origin.

But still there were some mummies that were found but only a portion of the dead animals. Scholars confidently claim that thirty percent of all found mummies are authentic.
