The government adopted a provision prohibiting the sites with pornographic content. Roscomnadzor got banned for closing 136 sites. In addition, the agency plans to completely eliminate pornokontent of’ll ever need.
Over the past year the government carried out a great job of reforming the Russian Internet. However, they do not plan to stop there. This year has already passed several reforms: removing “the fake” pages, a ban on “fotozhaby” and disconnect Roskomnadzora by the Prosecutor General. Now turn were porn sites. Roskomnadzor already received permission to close 136 sites containing pornographic content.
Roscomnadzor already had to deal with this kind of content. Previously, agency staff to block sites containing child pornography. Now Roskomnadzor will act according to the decisions of the district court Apastovski Tatarstan, according to which a specific site will be placed in a special register. After that, the site will have 3 days to remove illegal content.
However, the question of closing foreign sites becomes open. Of course, pornography is allowed in many countries. In addition, it is a huge business and foreign companies will not close their sites. However, it is necessary to restrict their work in Russia. On the side is Roskomnadzora law prohibiting the dissemination of pornographic nature of the Russian Federation.
