Since August 1, the “Russia” airline removes a ban on the use of wireless devices during climb and landing aircraft. This was reported on the carrier’s website.
Now, passengers will be able to use the phone, e-book readers and tablets at any time of the flight, if they are turned off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and mobile device itself will be translated into “airplane mode”.
“In order to avoid interfering with aircraft systems management on board is forbidden to use mobile devices, which do not have the ability to switch to offline mode, pagers, wireless Bluetooth headset, receiving and transmitting devices using the radio”, – explained the airline.
At the same rules do not apply to laptops weighing more than one kilogram of: during takeoff and landing, they must be in hand luggage, under the passenger seat or in the seat pocket in front of standing.
Earlier, a ban on the use of mobile devices took off “Aeroflot”: airline customers were allowed to leave enabled equipment from 1 July.
