Fallen ruble made smartphones in Russia the least expensive in the world – Newspaper Vladivostok

The difference with prices in other countries reaches 30 percent

The sharp decline in the purchasing power of the population of Russia
 due to the collapse of the ruble and naturally caused the drop in demand for
 imported equipment. As a result, today the cost of smartphones in
 Russian retailers became significantly lower in comparison with the prices of the same
 model in other countries, reports RIA VladNews citing a study hi-tech.mail.ru.

For example, Taiwanese HTC One (M8) in Russian official sellers
 worth 25 thousand rubles, while in the US the price of 500 dollars, in rubles
 Exchange – nearly six thousand more.
 Moreover, this cost does not include
 tax, which in each state their own, but 10% on average can throw. Even sellers
 Taiwan, where, in fact, produce the smartphone, its price is higher than
 Russia.

As much as HTC, the United States stands another smartphone – Japanese Sony Xperia Z3
 Compact. And in Russia, its price starts at 23,500 rubles – 31% cheaper. Japanese
 he goes to buyers at a lower price than the US, but more expensive than
 the Russians.

The difference in the prices of Korean smartphone depends on the brand.
 Thus, the price LG G3 for Russians and Americans is comparable, but in the US it costs
 about a thousand more. A Samsung GALAXY S5 mini with Russian sellers worth
 only 17 thousand rubles, while in the US it is about 6,000 more. In South
 Korea, the prices of these models is also higher than in Russia.

The leader on the price gap Finnish-American smartphone Nokia
 Lumia 830. In Russia it is sold at a price of 17 thousand rubles, while in the US
 for it will have to pay 450 dollars to 10,500 rubles more, if for
 exchange rate.

As for the cost of smartphones in the European countries,
 there prices for all the mentioned above models even than in the United States.

The only brand of smartphones, which are in Russia
 much more expensive than in the world, it sets Apple.
