Exit NASA astronauts into space was successfully completed – Sight

ISS Astronauts Barry Wilmore and Terry Verts successfully completed the work in outer space, NASA said.

During 6 hours and 40 minutes and Wilmore Verts, for which it is the first exit in open space, have been working to prepare for future ISS docking with the manned US devices.

Astronauts paved eight cable length of about 100 meters for future connections to the ISS, transmit RIA “Novosti” .

It is planned that 25 February and 1 March Wilmore and Verts will make two spacewalks to complete the preparatory work for installation created by Boeing docking port.

According to the plans of NASA, it will be delivered to the ISS in June aboard the space truck Dragon.

Recall spacewalk was originally scheduled for Friday, February 20.

However, NASA decided to postpone it for a day to provide additional checks spacesuits.
