MOSCOW, August 4 – RIA Novosti. Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBMP RAS) reached an agreement with NASA on joint series of large-scale experiments of insulation such as “Mars-500″.
According to the newspaper “Izvestia”, citing a senior source in the Russian Space Agency, and the American company IBMP Wyle (permanent partner NASA) signed an agreement to develop scenarios insulation experiments. The contract with IBMP Wyle, the newspaper writes, prefer not to discuss, citing the confidentiality of relations.
Director of the Institute of Biomedical Problems, Igor Ushakov told “Izvestia” that until 2020 the institute plans to conduct a series of experiments insulation with partners from USA, Europe, Japan and other countries.
“The experiments we want to continue hoping that now they will be attended crew members from various countries, including Russia and the United States. And it will be mixed by gender composition of the crew. If all goes according to our plans, the isolation experiments will take place from 2016 onwards every year until 2020 th.
