Eye movements help to learn about the human mind. This body not only reflect what is happening in our brains, but also can affect the way we store information and make decisions, says BBC Future.
The man’s eyes are in constant motion. Some of the movements are conscious, others are controlled subconsciously. So while reading is their rapid abrupt movement: our mind moves rapidly, stopping at each of the words. In the same way the eyes move when we go in the room – this time the wider movement, which allows to look around. During running or walking our eyes carry small involuntary movements, in order to compensate for the movement of the head and to stabilize our picture of the world.
In addition to all of the above, as scientists say, the eyes can give our thoughts to others.
For example, the breadth of pupils associated with confidence in the decision. If a person is not sure he is in a state of emotional arousal, and this in turn leads to dilation of the pupils.
staring at eye movements, perhaps even with a high degree of probability to predict how many people conceived. A team of scientists from the University of Zurich under the direction of Tobias Lёtshera conducted an experiment with 12 volunteers. They were asked to read aloud a list of four dozen numbers. At this time, the researchers observed how moving their eyes.
It was revealed remarkably precise relationship between the direction of eye movement test, the angle of rotation of the pupils and thus, more or less was the previous number that the subjects were going to say: when the participants in the experiment was preparing to read a larger number, his eyes turned right and up; when the figure was less rushed left eye and down. The more eyeballs turned to the side, the more was the difference between the numbers.
