A private US company SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 rocket, which put into space two commercial telecommunications satellite. Start carrier was made with the US Air Force base in Florida at 22:50 on Sunday (Monday at 06:50 Moscow time), reports Tass.

The satellites weighing two tons each were made by US company Boeing for the two operators satellite communication – the French company Eutelsat and Hong Kong Asia Broadcast Satellite. As expected, the machines will serve at least 15 years and will provide a link consumers in North and South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

After about half an hour after the launch of the satellites in turn undocked from the Falcon 9 and began maneuvering. A few months later they reached the target orbit height of almost 36,000 kilometers. Then specialists will test apparatus and if it goes well, they took over the service.
