Solar plane landed in Oman as part of a world tour – BBC

In the Omani capital Muscat landed aircraft Solar Impulse 2, travel around the world, reports Agence France-Presse .

It was reported earlier, that circumnavigation journey aircraft Solar Impulse 2 began early this morning flight from Abu Dhabi.

It is expected that over the next five months, the vehicle will cross the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

The Swiss pilots Bertrand Piccard and Andre Borschberg that control the aircraft, from time to time will make stops in different parts of the world. On the ground, the pilots are planning a vacation, to service aircraft, as well as to agitate the local people to use environmentally friendly technology.

Earlier it was reported that the Solar Impulse 2 took to the skies for test runs.
