MSU has reached the highest position for Russian universities in the world rankings – BFM.Ru

MSU sharply risen in reputation rating universities. According to the magazine Times Higher Education, the university took the 25th place. This is the highest position to which managed to climb Russian universities. Last year, MSU was in the fifties.

Harvard retained first place with 100 points, other places in the top three have moved from US Stanford and MIT in Cambridge University and Oxford – both more than 80 points. Reputation rating is based on the views of academics with teaching experience of more than 15 year old. In the most prestigious ranking of universities – Times Higher Education World University Ranking – MSU also showed a better result, but not as impressive. According to the vice-rector of the Higher School of Economics, Grigory Kantorovich growth rankings MSU and SPSU could occur due to the program “5-100″. Its purpose – to 2020, joining five Russian universities in the top hundred rankings according to QS.
