King / Moscow region / 11 December. / TASS /. Manned spacecraft “Soyuz TMA-17M”, left the dock of the International Space Station, including the engine for braking and exit from low-Earth orbit, told Tass in the Mission Control Center.

On the “Union” with the ISS returned Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, NASA astronaut Chell Lindgren and Japanese Kimia Yui, they stayed at the station for nearly five months.
It is expected , at 15:46 MSK the ship is divided into compartments, and at 15:49 MSK lander with astronauts will enter the dense layers of the atmosphere. At this point, communication with the crew will be on time lost.
The landing is scheduled for 16:12 MSK 121 km southeast of the town of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan.
The landing of cosmonauts will provide search and rescue Squad of the Central Military District – 180 troops, 12 helicopters Mi-8 with the special equipment on board, four AN-12 and AN-26 and 18 units of motor-vehicles.
After returning “Soyuz TMA-17M” on ISS were Russians Mikhail Kornienko and Sergei Volkov and NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, who will continue to be the commander of the ISS to return to Earth in March 2016. A new expedition is expected to go into orbit in the “Soyuz TMA-19M” December 15th. The crew will include Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko, NASA astronaut Timothy Kopra and European Timothy Peak (United Kingdom).
