Moscow State University has entered the top 10 universities QS ranking among the BRICS – REGNUM

Moscow, 20 July 2016, 03:58 – REGNUM Moscow State University named after Lomonosov took seventh place in the ranking of QS World University rankings for 2016 among the BRICS universities, reports RT channel.

According to the press service of the Moscow State University, the University received top marks in the categories “academic reputation”, “reputation among employers” and “the proportion of employees with academic degrees”, gaining 100 points.

However, the MSU has worsened their position in the ranking compared to last year, dropping to seventh place from the fourth.

in the top twenty rankings were as Saint Petersburg State University and Novosibirsk State University, who shared 20th place, but just in the top-250 includes 55 Russian universities, and on this indicator Russia ranked second among all the BRICS countries after China.

in total, ranking involved 421 high school of the BRICS countries, including 97 Russian universities.

As previously reported IA REGNUM in the ranking of QS «Emerging Europe and Central Asia” Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk universities have taken the first three places. Just a list of the best universities in developing Europe and Central Asia included 64 Russian university.
